1. Spiral is a polish progressive/art/post rock band.

Spiral was founded in 2004, however the current line-up was not reached until 2006. Many musicians had played in the band but it had a few performances until stabilization of the line-up allowed fully effective work, in 2006. In September of that year, Spiral won the “Rockowa Noc” contest that gave it the opportunity to record the first demo.

Its current line-up is:
Urszula Wojcik “plemnik” - vocals

Filip Smigiel “filon” - drums
Brunon Lubas “bru” - bass guitar
Mateusz Mazur “sqby” - guitar
Grzegorz Kyc - guitar

In 2006, Spiral was the finalist of a major rock contest, Poland’s “Go Rock Festival”. The year 2007 began with further changes in the line-up—a guitarist and the manager. The demo has been released. The band took also part in final auditions of one of the greatest music festivals in Poland, “Opole Debiuty”.

At the end of 2007 and beginning of 2008, the band recorded the EP album, “Under The Cold”. All the tracks are downloadable from the band’s MySpace.

After that, the band has participated in finals of international Carpathia PBS Bank Festival and took third place in Przestrzen Muzyki Live festival in Zamosc.

The next step was to compose and record a LP album, which was released in Poland by the well-known independent label, Ars Mundi. “Urban Fable” is a concept album with a theme of a surrealistic fairy tale.

Tuszu, zupełnie się z Tobą nie zgadzam, zresztą to nie jest punk rock żeby sobie skakać , tylko muzyka idealna do zamknięcia oczu i zapadnięcia w coś na rodzaj transu. Mi się koncert bardzo podobał i nie mogę się doczekać na następny w Krakowie (kieeedyyyy kiedy kieddyyy?) ?
