There are four bands which have used the name Spectres:
1. Spectres is a ‘nu gazey noise’ 4-piece hailing from Bristol, UK. They draw their influence from acts such as The Jesus and Mary Chain and My Blood Valentine.
2. Spectres was a 4-piece screamo band from San Fransisco, California.
Spectres formed in 2005 and was originally called Maudlin.
Due to copyrights they were forced to change their name.
They became Spectres in early 2006 and broke up in 2008.
3. Spectres is a band from Vancouver Canada, their sound shares similarities with bands such as The Mob and Joy Division.

4.Spectres was also the name of the early line up which went on to become Status Quo.

nothing to nowhere, last days, split with arctic flowers etc. is vancouver spectres that hunger ep is bristol spectres, haven't heard it but i have to say it's not very smart of them to pick this name if they are playing related genres.

Guessing: Nothing to Nowhere - Vancouver Spectres Hunger - Bristol Spectres? Like the second one better, but they're both pretty good.

There's a fucking psychobilly band with this name? :( How fucking sad, since the screamo band Spectres are totally awesome, and psychobilly music totally isn't. [4]

Spectres (the canadian ones) must be really a lot into Joy Division..the vocalist sounds a lot like Ian Curtis..and in songs like City Of Ghost it's impossible to don't think about them... btw,Last Days is really good! nothing that new,but still a really enjoyable tribute to the classics of english dark/post-punk (J.D.,Systers Of Mercy,New Model Army,Clan Of Ximox...) with a touch of (i guess) english anarcho/peace-punk (The Mob,Alternative,Zounds, early Chumbawamba,Karma Sutra,Dirt,Omega Tribe..)..Last Days was released in i'm especting/hoping for something new (maybe with a more personal touch in their music) as soon as possible! : )

When I saw the tags Post-punk/psychobilly/screamo put together I thought; "this must be the coolest band ever". Imagine the disappointment when I realized it was 3 different bands.
