Special Victim is a minimalist harsh industrial noise project. Inspired by the rhythmic elements of black industrial, the sonics and subject matter of power electronics, the desire to make something slow, heavy and percussive, and by popular prime-time child-rape entertainment programme Special Victims’ Unit.
Unaesthetic started S.V. in early 2009. Five experimental E.P.s of live-improvised material followed quite quickly. Each was based on variations on a theme, both in sound and subject matter. A couple tracks have been included in webcasts and on upcoming compilation CDs. SV is currently working on new material focussing on Satanic Ritual Abuse, MK-ULTRA/MONARCH, and the current media/mass-populace paedophilia panic. SV will also start live actions in 2010.
