    This is EXACTLY what a cover of a song should be!!! Mark captured the melody, lyrics & feel of the original and made it distinctly Sparklehorse. I'm exceptionally picky about music, and Pink Floyd is my favorite band. Do a cover of one of their songs & I'll probably tear it apart. However, this is subtle, beautiful, and with the suicide of Mark Linkhous, poignant.

    Anyone knows what is the lyric at the end? it starts at 5:04, the only part I can make out of it is "Es por el bien de ambos" in spanish, the rest is too mumbly :(

Contra su voluntad, naturalmente. “Es uno de mis clásicos favoritos. Quería que Thom la cantara, pero su agenda estaba tan apretada que fuimos posponiendo la sesión. Un A&R se enteró y le hizo grabar en un sistema que no acababa de concordar con el mío. El caso es que decidí utilizar sólo un trocito de la voz, y ahora imagino a miles de ‘fans’ de Radiohead invirtiendo en algo que, seguro, les va a decepcionar. Ya es agua pasada. En realidad, dispongo de un contrato muy modesto y la única responsabilidad que tengo que asumir respecto a mi segundo trabajo es entregarlo”.

    I like the original more, this one is ok. I like covers to be a little original and this just sounds too much like the Pink Floyd.
