    Much like Elliott Smith's last in the regard that they were both their most hopeful sounding records. Vivadixie was the only album that still had tracks on them that I didn't care for (with the notable exception of 'dog door', a few albums later), he actually developed to a more poppier sound that suits me more. When the female backing vocals kick in the first chorus of "Don't Take My Sunshine Away" I have to supress a tear every single time, such beauty.

    r.i.p mark anyone notice how mark chose to use the english word 'dreamt' instead of the american 'dreamed'... dreamt is in fact the only word in the english language that ends in the letters 'mt'... i have far too much time on my hands.
