Biography
In 1994, On his own label, Dope House Records, SPM released Hustle Town and Power Moves to local fame. Touring throughout Texas, SPM released The 3rd Wish and The Purity Album before moving to Universal Records for Time Is Money and Never Change. Some of South Park Mexican’s most popular hits to date are “Mary-go-round,” “Mexican Radio,” “High So High,” and “Peace Pipe”.
SPM has also worked with the late Creeper, DJ Screw, fellow Latino artists BABY BASH, Merciless AKA Merc100Man and Juan Gotti.
South Park Mexican is currently incarcerated in the Texas prison system. On May 18th 2002,a Houston jury convicted him for aggravated sexual assault of a child ; in June the same jury sentenced him to 45 years in prison. Coy testified that he did not assault the nine-year-old girl in question, who had spent the night at his house with his daughter Carley. Coy did, however,admit of having sex in 1993 with a 22-year-old woman who bore his child Jordan. He will be eligible for parole after he serves 22 1/2 years of his 45 year sentence and is currently pursuing an appeal.
SPM’s latest album, The Last Chair Violinist was released on November 18th, 2009.

To all the haters, the point is he didn't do it, there was no evidence what so ever. Not enough for a warrant, arrest, prosecution and certainly not enough for a conviction. You're supposed to be innocent until proven guilty, but he was already guilty in their eyes because the judge and jury were racist. The mother of the 9 year old wanted money from SPM, and when he wouldn't give it to her she sought revenge. I don't believe for one second that he did this, why would he risk his entire life and career, knowing he would lose everything? Not a chance, he could have had any woman he wanted, and plus he has a family. SPM is not that stupid, yes he's made some mistakes and had a child with a 14 year old (whom he thought was 18) when he was 21 or so, but he admitted to that and has always supported his child. SPM is a good person, a very deep man who is passionate about his family and music. He deserves another chance to prove his innocence, and I pray to see him in concert again one day.
