Biography

Soundmachine is an instinct, an intense emotion, a biting shout of
guitar and a wistful melody. Soundmachine is power and heat, a
sound that goes straight to the heart and brain, through the soul.
A road that begins where the years ‘90 in Seattle have left their wake
and arrives in southern Italy where even today there is who want to
hear the music inside and not built by artificial means.
Burning voice, screeching and caressing guitars, bass and drums
follow the rhythm of breath, of life, of struggle to find voice in this
gray society.

Soundmachine was formed in Catania, Italy in 2003 by Graziano. After
several changes of formation, in 2009 the band reaches the actual formation:
Gianluca as vocalist, Graziano on guitars, Danilo on bass, Andrea on drums.
The musical background of the band is influenced by many styles: from
Hard Rock to Funk, from Blues to Indie, from Grunge to Metal.
The songs, therefore, are contaminated by the variety of genres and
experiences of the band members. Each element has one or more parallel
projects that contribute to enrich the general experience.

The band has showed in various festivals, events and pubs, with cover
and original songs.

During the last year the band has chosen to focus on writing their own songs
and has recently released its second work titled Want To Be Free? EP. This EP,
completely self-produced, consists of 2 songs in English and 2 in Italian.
