@Bluntside The reason why i listened to it 10 times or more is because they have been my favorite band since their demo and ive been so fucking hyped for ETV, sometimes albums gets better with every listen so i was hoping for it to get better, but it have not. Tech death is maybe not my cup of tea anymore i dont know.

@fylledal i guess it's time to move onto something else? other than it being just a guest appearance thing on one song, it's strange that it has taken you 10 listens on something that you find boring. if you can't connect with it wholly on 3-4 times then why go with it on 10 times?

Ive given the album maybe 10 listens now and the only thing that really gives me shivers is trevors guest appearance. The rest is still pretty boring :(

Totally agree about the drums. Biggest flaw of the album.

Great new album, catchy and to the point. Shame about the drum production though. Bass drums with no fucking bass in them.

I don't know about you guys, but the new album was a one-way trip down to groove city for me.

When Deterioration of minds came out it really BLEW my mind! It was fucking insane, evan the demo is better than Engineering the void in my opinion. I was waiting for the same old Decapitated-groove that they had before. That something many tech-death bands are missing these days. Everything is about sweeping and blasting, but where is the groove? SoP really got that. I dont know.. maybe im too old or ive been listening to Meshuggah too much ^^

Incurso is top notch tech-death, most albums that you try and compare to it will definitely fall short.

meh was kind of dissapointed of the new album, maybe because i compare all new tech-death to spawn of possessions Incurso. This album was kind of dull, nothing really stood out. Was expecting some real groove
