Iggy Pop can fuck off. Selling car insurance for christs sake.

It's funny how you can listen to the same track and hear differerent things every time. I don't hear Lust for Life so much this time!

Any songs about Julie Christie movies do it for me.

I dunno - the reason I'm "serious" about them nicking riffs is that I'm tired of bands being "influenced" by people like Iggy Pop and Lou Reed enough to make stolen riffs the driving part of their singles. Having said that, Sons and Daughters are a better band than most, and if music must eat itself then I'd rather it be washed down with good vocals and a good drum track ...

Damn, Little Buddha! Today I listened to Some Weird Sin for the first time and have spent much of the afternoon looking for the song that reminded me of that one xD But, to be serious, the similarity is quite reduced. I'd consider it more an inspiration, since it is just a riff they take. No need to get so serious =) P.S.: The royalties should go to David Bowie too! Why not settle this by having Bowie, Iggy, Sons and Daughters play together in a concert?
