At the same time Sonia Pérez studied at Instituto Superior de Música in Camagüey.
In 1994 Sonia Pérez started touring the Netherlands and Belgium with the cuban group Tradisón.
Tradisón played at various radio en TV shows, and a lot off festivals.
Sonia Pérez also recorded the album “La música y yo”.
Since 1995 Sonia Pérez is living in the Netherlands and worked with different groups, like Cumbanero, Siete Potencias, Perlas Negras, Trio Amigos and others.
In the beginning of 2006 Sonia Pérez recorded her solo album “Una Chica Como Yo” in Cuba.
