Omaha, Nebraska, United States (2000 – present)

Son, Ambulance is an American indie rock band based in Omaha, Nebraska, United States which formed around 2000. They are signed to the Saddle Creek label. Lead singer/songwriter Joe Knapp appeared on albums of other bands, such as Fevers and Mirrors by Bright Eyes, before releasing Son, Ambulance’s debut album — a split with Bright Eyes called Oh Holy Fools. Since then, they have released three more albums: Euphemystic (2001) and Key (2005), and, most recently, Someone Else’s Deja Vu (2008). Other credited musicians for Son, Ambulance include Robert Little on bass, Jeff Koster on drums, Jeff Tafolla on keyboards, James Cuato on saxophone, and Daniel Knapp on piano/keyboards. Jenna Morrison provides backing vocals on many tracks.

Can't imagine anyone really caring for this but I just coincidently found out that the "Euphemistic"-cover comes from the Liber divinorum operum, some 1000 year old book of a german nun. Boom.

I want to listen to them, but that asshole with the smug looking beard is holding me back. Someone tell me a story about how he really has a heart of gold and told tiger woods not to cheat on his wife.

I'd like to see all you fellas spelling-bashing having a go at speaking perfectly fluent German.

Following your argumentation, it would not at all make a difference if their name hence was SonAmbulance - as our gratefulness for the beauty of their music should make us indifferent concerning such profane things as their name.

Just a guess, but the comma is likely omitted due to the fact that it's impossible to have one in a web address. That, added to the possibility that ""; might be a bit too unwieldy. Ultimately agree though, in that whether it is present or not doesn't really make a difference. You don't listen to the band's name, you listen to the music. As to debating whether either one is correct, most doing so should simply be thankful it hasn't been combined into SonAmbulance.

After that slight period of getting into it, I adore the new lp. Legend of Lizeth is a truly beautiful song.

i dont think a comma really matters all that much.. and neither page has Someone Else’s Deja Vu on it which is fucked. that is disappointing they gave a shitty live show, i watched them at sxsw 07 and they were amazing. i think their touring band has a lot to do with it, because when i watched them it was the drummer for the good life.. i dunno :- \

They have been extremly untight four years ago, they were extremly untight yesterday... definitely not a live band. Maybe they need a crowd of aficionados to perform live like they do on their fantastic records.

They were awful lasty night here in Copenhagen. One of the least professional performances I have seen in a very long time. Very disappointing.
