Dresden, Germany (2003 – present)

SOMAN is an / act from Dresden, Germany, formed in 2003 and headed by Kolja Trelle. In the start, Kolja Trelle was a sound engineer for many well known bands, including: Absurd Minds, Hocico and Terminal Choice, as well as remixing songs for many other bands. Soman has its very own unique sound mixture of Noise, Electro and Techno, or more often described as ‘Industrial For Clubs’
Soman has also played live in over 60 acts and also supported more known bands, like VNV Nation.

Soman has also collaborated with artist Lahannya, several times.

    Seriously, who cares what genre it is? Artists shouldn't be defined by genre, just let them make what they like.. Even if it's totally different than the albums before, it's called evolution :P I enjoy both old and new soman, his new album is great just like anything he has made so far...

    i cant belive this project is even promoted as one of the top artists on the Industrial stage, it's so dull and reminds more of...anything than Industrial because the new album? i noticed no mechanical elements so go to bed Soman and come back when you got some real Industrial. in the meantime you will remain as an good electronic project, nothing more, nothing less. dont mind me, i just know when i hear mechanical music ergo Industrial when i hear it and this where more close to futurepop than Industrial which is supposed to be a joke but it's not; it's funny fact :P
