Snakadaktal are a band with flavour for the kids. They adore playing at tropical full moon dream parties.
All born from mothers, Snakadaktal grew up in different regions of Melbourne’s streets. All these five hope for is to have fun and produce music that people can hum to. Boys there will be girls, girls there will be boys.
Snakadaktal are 5 tremendously talented teenage friends from Melbourne who in 2011 quickly rose to the forefront of Australia’s attention after being deservedly crowned Triple J’s Unearthed High winners after releasing their stunning debut single ‘Chimera’.
Although in the midst of their final year of highschool, in the last 8 months the band have not taken time off…rather pushed even further with their follow up single ‘Air’ receiving high rotation on Triple J and community stations around the country.
With the schooling year’s end on the horizon, the band recently announced their first ever headline Australia tour to the delight of fans around the country which have resulted in tickets flying out the door and the Melbourne show selling out. With all of this already under their belts…the future looks incredibly bright for Snakadaktal
