One cold evening in 2006. The popular very existing Superdark Hawkbird-Man show needed a theme song. The knight-helmet-wearing drummer Dave asked his friend Chuck, whom he met on the way to the annual forklift rave, if he wanted to co-write a song for the show. Chuck thought it was a fantastic idea and wrote some lyrics and insisted on singing. Soon they found their bassplayer, Gregg, who was dating Dave’s mother at the time. On the way to the studio, they found some guy sleeping in a box on the sidewalk. They handed him a couple of synthesizers, named him Crazy-Joe, and they were a band. Now they just needed a name. Some girl said that Snack Tudor would be a good name. They liked the name and the girl and asked her to be backup singer in their band. The theme song was a success, and three years later, the album Generator was released, and Chuck started to show his “guitar skills” more and more. The rest of the band didn’t like Chucks new rockstar attitude and alcoholism and they tried to kick him at several occasions, but Chuck was way too drunk to understand what they were talking about so he just continued to appear on shows, so they just let him be. The lineup of the band changed during the recording of second album Escalator. Chuck still singing, Gregg and Dave on bass and drums. Crazy-Joe got rabies and was replaced with a dog. Unfair, some might say, because the dog’s got rabies too. But it’s still a better keyboard player than Joe ever was.
