  • Once Again, We're Victorious

    Morning Sports Fans,

    IF you didn't already know, yesterday saw the impromptu online launch of the new Scarfboy EP, posted on last.fm. It is entitled the 'Once Again I'm Victorious EP' and contains 4 fully-finished tracks, produced by Thom James AKA Scarfboy himself. All four tracks feature a small selection of instruments; acoustic guitar, piano, wurlitzer, organ and harmonica, and has a very lo-fi sound. The tracklisting is as follows:

    Thom has said of his new work: This small collection of songs make me very proud. I wrote or had a hand in writing all of these songs on the new EP over a period stretching back almost 4 years. Some of them we're meant for different things, but I was unsure I'd ever get them recorded the way they were originally intended. So, rather than losing them to the history books, I took my time, recorded them to the best of my ability, whilst trying to offer a new angle on the sound; trying to keep a certain 'demo'…
