Biography

There are two bands with the same name
1 - Slowgun (UK) - London Based Band
2 - Slowgun (CAN) on the WEEWERK with album “Wish I Was”

Some nice things people have said about Slowgun (UK);

“Slowgun are going places - you heard it here first (or seventeenth). I know little about them other than that they’ve apparently been around since 2004 and have UK and Italian members and have played lots of support slots. That, and they’re strongly influenced by 90s alt-rock-influenced guitar pop, particularly the Breeders. That sound is so zeitgeisty now it’s a wonder there are no records from them other than the excellent self-released ‘Stephen’ from the end of last year but that makes seeing their live show so essential. File under: “too good to be just below the headliners”. - GED M @ SoundXP.com

“Indie-pop perfection”-Drowned in Sound

“fledgling perfect pop”-Noisestar

“Sunny punk songs and precious lullabies that flash by in 60 seconds yet never leave your head.”-The Windmill

“They sound like they’ve been around for ages but they are a mere babe in swaddling cloths. Songs of heartbreak and love and comic book heroes, dark of rhythm and hopeful of voice. Don’t miss.”-The Windmill

“London quartet Slowgun peddle sunkissed pop songs which deal with subjects such as heartbreak, love and comic book heroes”- Channel 4 Unsigned (on tunetribe)

    Slowgun on weewerk is not the same band as the Slowgun band profiled here - if you got our record from IODA there is proper artist info available. Why mix the two artists up ? This is maddening!
