Slowdown Virginia (1993-1995) was an indie rock band from Omaha, Nebraska, on Lumberjack Records, the predecessor to today's Saddle Creek records. Slowdown Virginia's birth could best be categorized as a nebulous evolution from The March Hares, (another Omaha band) when in 1993, Matt Oberst and Jim Robino parted ways with The March Hares, leaving Steve Pedersen and Tim Kasher to assume guitar and vocal duties respectively within the new group.     there is no self titled album guys. there was a 3 song live bootleg/demo/something with the songs Potato Slaw, Ruby Slippers, and Blame. then there was another tacky 6 song demo called Virginia, which had the rest of the songs from the self titled download thing. the oddly numbered 15 song CB is from a VA comp called "Apollo's Salvage". hope i finally cleared this up for everyone.

    scared of falling? i have never heard of it. i have dead space on my computer but its in a weird format that wont go my ipod and has to buffer all the time. i have another one on my comp thats just called self titled.
