There is more than one artist called Slik:
1 - A Scottish glam rock band in the 70s, featuring singer Midge Ure, famously of Ultravox and Rich Kids, in his first real band. They had a #1 hit in the UK in 1976,
Forever And Ever and a few other minor hits afterwards, such as Requiem, The Kid’s A Punk, Don’t Take Your Love Away and Dancerama.
2 - A young California rapper that just recorded his new album “All or Nothing” and is about to release it soon. His new single “Flip” is his latest track and is about to come out with “Swipe” soon.
3 - A Local-dutch rapcore/hardcore band. They recorded a demo album in 2005. Even tho this demo was brought out, the band disbanded in the begin of 2006 due to solo-plans of singer Tim. The Bassplayer went to the band 37 Stabwoundz. The Guitar player (Tommy) went to the band Blind Sight and the drummer (Ruud) went to play with progress, a punk band who recently (fall 09) broke up.

Midge Ure´s (Ultravox, If I was) erste Aufnahmen als Sänger der 70er Jahre Teenie-Band Slik, aber nicht schlecht. "Forever And Ever" höre ich heute noch ab und zu.
