    A bit boring and less complex than their first album. They definitely turned their noise down which doesn't have to be a bad thing but they haven't replaced it with anything interesting.

    Their latest record seems as if it will not be as heavy, noisy OR rhythmically irregular/complex as Treats. Many people say that their change in sound is due to them wanting to achieve mainstream and/or commercial success. In my opinion it does not matter whether that is true or NOT because they were already as big as ANY NEW group could be. They already had as much success as ANY NEW group would have. Meaning any more success that they get will be largely due to time... as in, "over time their fan base grew larger". Obviously exposure, promotion and "pop tunes" will help any artist, but I just don't think their new sound will have that huge of a difference on their success.
