Sleepy Hollow was around since early 1992. A vision of Derek Jones, the front man who sings and writes all the songs. Mark Haemmerle joined him shortly after the decay of Winter Winds, another band he was in before Sleepy Hollow.
Sleepy hollow split in 1999 and re-emerged in 2001 with Mark taking over on vocals. After that, the new line up merged into the band Starcrossed, taking the music into more of a direction and then back to .
