About this album
Born in a small town in Alberta, Canada, Sleepless1111 was raised in Calgary and moved to Vancouver in 2005, a move she credits with freeing her soul. She is heavily influenced by Tangerine Dream and other seminal ambient/electronic music producers, as well as many soundtrack composers (she particularly loves the work of Edward Shearmur, Jon Brion, and Philip Glass). In 2009 she began to create music of her own and her first attempts are what you see here.
