Slant 6 was a trio based in Washington D.C., United States.

The all-female group consisted of Christina Billotte (electric guitar and vocals), Myra Power (electric bass guitar and vocals), and Marge Marshall (drum set and trumpet), and formed in July 1992 following the 1991 breakup of Autoclave, in which Billotte had played.

  • "Driving to the Edge" is not by this band. It's some Various Artists album by a bunch of unknowns. The music sounds like stuff you'd hear in beer commercials. That being said, the real Slant 6 is amazing. Please get Driving to the Edge off their Top Albums list. It's sacrilege of the highest degree.
  • I think I prefer Slant 6 over Bikini Kill as I like their staccato way of playing and they are darker in sound.
