Slagsmålsklubben (often abbreviated as SMK) is an electro/pop group from Norrköping, Sweden. The name Slagsmålsklubben is the literal Swedish translation of “The Fight Club”, referring to the popular novel and movie. They have released three full length albums so far. Along with their side projects, they have been featured on Björk’s compilation CD Army of Me: Remixes and Covers.
SMK’s members are Björn Nilsson, Hannes Stenström, Joakim “Beebop” Nybom, Joni Mälkki, Kim Nilsson, and Frej Larsson. The members of the band have many side projects, such as 50 Hertz and Häxor och porr, which feature many of SMK’s members, Din Stalker, Hannes’ solo project, and Offerprästers Orkester, one of Frej’s solo projects.
In 2005, the entire band moved to Berlin. As of July 2008, Kim lives in Berlin, Hannes & Frej live in Stockholm and Joni, Björn & Beebop live in Norrköping.

This band has two pages on Last.FM. I have scrobbles under both names, and both spellings appear to be identical. The problem appears to arise from the way the character å is encoded. Compare http://www.last.fm/music/Slagsma%CC%8Alsklubben with http://www.last.fm/music/Slagsm%C3%A5lsklubben, which is this page. There are two encoding standards for the å character, as you can see above (c3 a5 and cc 8a). I believe that c3 a5 is the generally accepted correct encoding, but all forms of the character å should ideally redirect to this page, to prevent confusion (although technically cc 8a is an a followed by a circular accent, rather than a å). Assuming that this issue arises from an oversight in the way the Last.FM code assigns URIs, and not from intentional sabotage or some other issue, it probably affects a lot of Scandinavian band names.
