Slackhabit is a Seattle based group that came and went between 2005 and 2010. Mostly known for their intense thrashy performances, the band only put out two EP's in the span of five years. The first is titled "Gangrene Nation" and was recorded at Big Sound Productions, with Steve Jones, in late 2007 and released in early 2009. The second was titled "The Long Haul" and was also produced by Steve Jones, but never received an official release.

In July of 2010 the band played their last performance at the Tiger Lounge in Seattle, WA.
