There are at least four bands called “Skogen”.
1) Skogen is Atmospheric black metal from the deep woods of southern Sweden. In the vein of Drudkh. Current label - Frostscald Records. Formed in 2009. Current line-up: J. Svensson, M. Nilsson.

2) Skogen is Polish Raw Black Metal band founded in 2003.

4) The fourth Skogen is something else entirely: the electro-acoustic big-band of Magnus Granberg. Their first album “Ist gefallen in den Schnee” was released in February 2012 on Another Timbre, and features Magnus Granberg himself (piano), Angharad Davies (violin), Anna Lindal (violin), Leo Svensson Sander (cello), John Eriksson (vibraphone & crotales), Erik Carlsson (selected percussion), Henrik Olsson (bowls & glasses), Peter Wästberg (objects, contact microphones & mixing board) and Toshimaru Nakamura (no-input mixing board).
