About this album
More similar to the work of John Fahey, Leo Kottke and many other acoustic composers, this album is Skiye’s “tribute to his acoustic guitar.” Skiye writes the majority of his music on the acoustic before it becomes anything else and he wanted to pay homage to that. This album mixes acoustic styles of fingerpicking, flatpicking and slide work. Most of the tracks on this album are raw unedited recordings.
