The blues was seen as a sinister style of music during the 20's-30's and just like today, some of the artists went to some length to cultivate the image. Tommy Johnson (there is considerable debate as to what length the better known Robert Johnson had the legend attributed to him) had tales that he sold his soul to the devil. Scream'n Jay Hawkins would rise from a casket on stage. Today is just white kids that need more sunlight that brandish the occult as advertising.

Either a bad tag or the song is also known as "Drunken spree" by the same artist.
