A Gristle Box is a home made effects processor designed by Chris Carter back in the seventies of which like two or three remaining units built for friends actually still function. The members of Throbbing Gristle each had their own to fuck up sounds (including vocals) w/. The one used on this recording was lost to the same near catastrophical events which cost Genesis P-Orridge roughly half an arm.
