Mind: The Perpetual Intercourse

This album was originally released in 1986 on both cassette and vinyl LP formats and featured only the first 9 tracks. In 1988 Nettwerk released a CD version of this album which featured several bonus tracks that were absent from the cassette & vinyl LP versions. This agitated many fans at the time who felt they essentially had to buy this album twice to get all of the tracks, not an unfamiliar complaint from early Puppy fans after having to buy both cassette & LP versions of Bites in order to get all of the tracks of that particular release.

Although they were titled differently it would turn out that the bonus tracks were in fact songs that had already been previously released on a number of 12” singles: the 1987 releases Chainsaw, Addiction, and Stairs and Flowers . The decision was also made to replace the version of Dig It that appeared on the cassette & vinyl editions with the Dig It (12” version) from the 1986 Dig It 12” single release. Once again, no annotation of this was made on the album or liner notes and the track title did not reflect this in any way.

The correct track listing for the album with proper titles should therefore appear as follows:
