Way better than slipknot and their music. Way more thought and emotion behind this band than slipknot

I am not big on the "funeral doom" sub-genre, but I am quite smitten with Skepticism and Nortt, both seem to be produces some amazing atmospheres.

Once again Skepticism shows that there is more to Metal music than just falling into line and meeting the demands of a genre, by creating epic music with wide emotional scope and appeals to higher desires such as that of escaping the shell of mortality and becoming one with the alloy, the composite of life, death and rebirth.

Their sound defines what funeral doom is. That's what's so special about them. I didn't know they had a new album! It's been so long...
