Siya Siyabend is a Turkish rock group (“Siyabend” is the name of a Mesopotamian national hero).
Founded in 1994, and based in Istanbul, the band plays in a mixture of styles, from oriental-tinged jazz-rock to traditioanlly-based material, from protest songs to settings of quatrains by Omar Khayyám.
