Nikki Sixx, founder of hard rock band Mötley Crüe has written his memoirs in The Heroin Diaries, a book that reflects the darkest period of his life. To create a musical accompaniment to the text, he formed the band Sixx:A.M. with his good friends James Michael (vocals) and Dj Ashba (guitar) and released a soundtrack with the same name on Eleven/Seven Music inspired by the book. They are currently promoting the single ‘

Life Is Beautiful’ while Nikki is doing a book signing tour in the US.
