six days from Sunday want to be real with you. This rock band (aka 6dfs) out of Gainesville, FL has bonded with fans around the nation with fresh music and an honest message. It’s a message about everyday life following Jesus and both the struggles and sweet joy that come with it.
6dfs formed as a worship band before writing on their own. Still, worship remains close to their heart. They’ve led Baptist services in the Texas heartland, rocked smoky pubs in Wales, and loved them both. God has blessed them with diversity.
The band call their style of music cool.deep.rock — sort of a mix of U2, Paul Simon, and Switchfoot. Audiences have appreciated their style, which just seems a little different. Their latest release, Bigger Than We Are (2005), has left fans pleased and wanting more.
Being indie has its challenges, but they are ready for what’s next. God has done so many great things for them - they trust Him to do a lot more.
