Biography

Six Cents and Natalie is the sporadic side-project of Tullycraft lead singer Sean Tollefson. This lo-fi band actually predates his pre-Tullycraft band Crayon. Six Cents and Natalie released a series of cassette tapes and 7” singles, and eventually released two full length CDs.

i love Sean Tollefson, Tullycraft etc. this sounds like TC but more lo-fi, a bit like Daniel Johnston. Sean's vocals are slightly reminiscent of Johnston; i have all of tullycraft's albums but only four songs by 6 cents & natalie- i desperately want to get a copy of 'when punk fell to earth' - I can't express in words how happy & joyful Tullycraft & 6 Cents make me feel!

After months of searching for this I finally acquired it! And oh my god I love it so much. It's like... Casiotone for the Painfully Alone meets Tullycraft. Think the same sorta lofi casiotone sound with the twee lyrics instead of the angsty stuff owen ashworth writes. Sosososo good.

Their singer seriously sounds like the singer from tullycraft. Same man perhaps?
