Biography

There are at least five different bands that share this name.

1) SIVA is a Japanese band. They formed in February 2005 and signed to in November 2005. After Iori left the band in March 2008, the band changed the name from Siva to SIVA. They disbanded in July 25, 2009.

Vocals: カイリ (Kairi, ex. ヴィシュヌ)
Guitar: 雄一 (Yuuichi, ex. Eldorado/EllDorado)
Bass: Cell (ex. Alc<αA>dia)
Drums: 霧 (Kiri, ex. Alc<αA>dia)

ex. Guitar: 依織 (Iori, ex. Blast, now in cocklobin)
ex. Drums: カルト (Karuto)

ex. Support Drums: アキ (Aki, now known as 摩珠 in E’m~grief~)

2) Siva is a Punk-Rock band from León, Spain. Personnel are Rubén E. Tabarés (vocals, ritmic guitar), Oliver Moreno (drums), Diego García (Guitar) and Francisco Benavides (Bass).
Their first album is called “Realidad”, in stores since March/2006.

3) Siva is a indie-pop band from Berlin, Germany.

Members are:
Andreas Bonkowski: Vocals, Guitars, Keyboards, Programming.
Nils Frahm: Rhodes, Synthesizers, Programming, Effects.
Sepp Singwald: Bass, Keyboards.
Jens Gathemann: Drums.
Their debutalbum “The Story Is Complete But I Think We’ve Lost The Book” was released on 20.07.2007 in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

4) Siva is from El Paso, TX. They have toured with fellow El Paso band Sparta. You can hear them at myspace.com/siva

    i didn't know other groups with same name as japanese Siva. too many bands named the same thing, every j-rock band ends up having the same name as other groups in different countries makes it so annoying & confusing >-<
