Sissy Wish from Bergen, Norway, arrived the popscene with the debutalbum, “You May Breathe”, in february 2004. One year earlier she won the “Urørt 2003”, http://www.nrk.no/urort , (a national competition for un-signed bands and musical groups, held by Norwegian Radio, P3) with the national hit, “Six Feet Tall”. The true inspiration and the recognition of winning “Urørt”, the sudden attention helped Sissy Wish to raise the interests around her music and expectations towards the date of release.

“You May Breathe” became an immediate success, with the critics unified in a shimmering cloud of enthusiasm, it entered the Top 10 and delievered a number of radiosingles. The album is produced

Counting the top-score reviews from the media, “You May Breathe” stands alone as the one most appreciated musical recording that has ever been released in Norway, independant of national origin, with thirteen full score articles with 6/6 , and eight peaking at 5/6.

Sissy Wish won the Norwegian Grammy (Spellemannprisen) for “Best female artist” in early spring 2004. Three weeks later, she release her second album, “Tuning In”.
