Back to the start where eyes first blink to see
A flowing mane a cut-glass limb
And they're falling soaring so rhythmically

A fittingly fabulous swansong for the band. [2]. My favorite song from my favorite album. ♥

The title describes it pretty well, I'd say. It's definitely a rapture

The Banshees evolved into masters of tempo change, and The Rapture demonstrates this superbly. What a beautiful, beautiful symphony of music, lyric, voice, emotion, and power! By far the best track on the album, and a fittingly fabulous swansong for the band.

"you'd think this would be insufferably boring but it's actually one of the most incredible things they ever recorded. i don't know what critics were taking at the time but "the rapture" is such a perfect final album." YES!!
