This album was a mistake--in that I'd meant to buy something by someone else. The Banshees weren't my cup of tea. However, after listening, I quickly became a fan and bought all their other albums.

Just got all the original songs and heard them for the first time, right after listening to this. It's quite striking how much better many of these songs are than the originals!

Nope. This one is B O R I N G. Sorry. First two tracks are good. Third is so-so. The Passenger is good, if a little pedestrian. Otherwise: BORING.

i put off buying this for a long time because i usually don't like covers albums but i'd be prepared to say that this is one of their best albums. it's a really good mix between the early 80s rawer psychadelia and their subsequent more polished sound. it helps that they had exquisite choice in what they covered.

This is a good album, from the last album, and this, they started sounding much more polished and proffessional, compared to the screm, which sounded really weird. Its not as good though, cause its a covers album, not theirs.

Along with _Peepshow_ I find this the most consistant Banshees album, not one dud.

This has to be the greatest album of covers in existence. I love every single track, which is a rare thing indeed.

It was considered a disaster? I think that this is the greatest cover album of all-time!

This album is nowhere near the disaster it was made out to be at the time of its release. Its only because Nick Cave did a similar concept at the same time. Sea Breezes is one of siouxsie's most sublime moments
