ChalkAngels: I'm not saying that the band should be forgotten at all. I'm saying that people need to accept the possibility that over the course of two decades it is possible that two unrelated groups of people with different musical preferences may choose the same name for a band. It just makes sense to me that the band most recently active should be allowed to be the main post without people throwing a fit.

jhildreth: would you rather that this band be completely forgotten? And then this music eventually dissipate into nothingness, I think it's important for younger generations to inherit this music and make it their own. So that in the future we can fly the flag ourselves and continue to make this great music and support it ourselves, want would punk be if people said |"You can't listen to Black Flag you weren't even around when they were together." - Excuse the rant but I feel what your saying is ridiculous.

A band that was together for 7 months 16 years ago is the main post here, seriously? Most of you posters were barely alive then.
