Biography

Industrial metal outfit Sinisstar from Los Angeles, first appeared on the Heavy Metal 2000 soundtrack after shopping their demo around to various labels. When Fred Durst heard the demo, he immediately signed the band to his own Flawless Records and helped them along with their efforts by including them on the Limp Bizkit tour. They stepped into the studio in 2001 to work on their debut album, Future Shock, with producer Bob Marlette and Brendan O’Brien. The band is currently on hold.

Lead vocalist Edgy 59 was part of the cult stoner doom project Burning Witch with Stephen O’Malley and other influential figures of the stoner/doom scene.

"Sorry, it's lame." It's a good thing no one actually cares about what non-fans have to say about any particular band, especially when they come off with such a snobbish demeanor. Sinisstar's great, Burning Witch was great... Suck it up!

stop that ridiculous bitching. that differs from what EDGY used to do in Burning Witch, yeah, but yet it's a good band at least within the genre. And the most exciting thing about Sinisstar is that here EDGY's able to show ALL his vocal possibilities. And hey all you, "Freak Of Nature" is a great song, dare to argue?
