In May 2010, the singer of Sin-cere (Gusta) and the other band members decided to not continue their collaboration anymore for several reasons. At that moment, the band only consisted of Bjorn (keys), Mark (drums), Jacco (electric guitar) and Maarten (bass guitar), but in June 2010 they found a new singer; Laura.
By being in the semi-finals, Sin-cere has proven to be fairly successful in the cover band competition ‘The Clash of the Coverbands’. However, unfortunately, Sin-cere did not make it to the finals.
In October 2010, Bjorn decided to quit the band because of quite a few personal issues he had with several members of the band. At that point, the future of Sin-cere became rather unstable, and when
-shortly after- Laura also decided to end her participation, the other 3 members of Sin-cere decided to split up, quit Sin-cere and go their seperate ways.
