in 1987, i was stationed in germany.i bought this album in cassette form and played the shit out of it. i still have the cassette and it still sounds good..my favorite song has to be "book of brilliant things".

Great album , I remember being 17 when this came out and playing my vinyl copies of this and U2's Joshua Tree to death . Pretty much captured the sound of Simple Minds at their peak - a great album to blast out on a hot Summers day :-)
