Simona Radu is a singer/songwriter from Romania.

After several collaborations with some of the most successful Romanian pop/rock bands (Vama Veche, Firma, Vita de Vie, Trupa), Simona Radu has released the first album of her own in 2011, titled “A Million Others Like Me”. This collection of songs that Simona wrote herself has been brought to life by Manu Savu, who produced and mixed the whole record. The lyrics are strongly autobiographical, reflecting multiple aspects of her personality.

In 2013, the “LLA” EP was released, following the instant success of the same named single. LLA is a protest song, mocking some of the most notorious Romanian hits and advocating for a real alternative to mainstream music. LLA is also the first track that was entirely written, arranged and produced by Simona, while Manu Savu did the mixing and the mastering.

Simona Radu is currently working on an upcoming movie soundtrack, while traveling in the United States and gathering material for her next studio album (scheduled for release in fall 2014).
