Simon King is not only an exceptional and truly unique stand up comedian but a veteran road comic with thousands of shows and thousands of miles to his credit. His high energy, dynamic, intelligent and often edgy comedy style makes him one of a kind in the stand up comedy world. His explosive performance, an arsenal of dead on impressions, characters and impossible sound effects coupled with an ability to switch between polished material and improvisation at break neck speed always leaves audiences in awe and demanding more.
A workhorse and extremely prolific writer as well as outstanding club and corporate performer, it wasn’t long before he was being invited to play some of the world’s most prestigious comedy competitions and festivals. From his appearances at: the San Francisco International Comedy Competition, the Seattle International Comedy Competition and the Vancouver International Comedy Festival to his breakout performances at the prestigious HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen and the HBO, TBS Comedy Festival in Las Vegas: It’s undeniable he’s made an impact wherever he’s been.
