Definitely caught me by surprise. Interesting arrangement!

Am I right in thinking this must be one of the earliest use of a synthesiser? Certainly in a 'pop' song. [2]

I love this track. 'Bookends' is my favourite Simon and Garfunkel album and among my favourite albums by anybody. The way this track segues into 'America' is genius.

Definitely a different song for them. Sounds like folk rock gone 80's.

This entire song is so unique, but that sample of The Sound of Silence is eerie!
