There was a man that knew too much
With a panic attic mind but a
A chance to numb his golden touch, to ignore the will of time
Had me struck down, open to the fact

Young Modern, along with Diorama, is the best Silverchair album. Is so amazing how every single album is great, and all of them are very different from each other. This is what i love about Silverchair, and i'll always love this band. This song is one of the greatest in YM.

This album will never be appreciated. These cats aren't fourteen anymore. They can't write the same album at the verge of thirty years of age as when they were teenagers. When you're that young you don't even know who you are, and certainly they feel different than when they wrote Frogstomp. I feel they are one of the most underrated bands in rock, and Daniel Johns is one of the best vocalists I have ever heard.

they were my favourite band. What the hell happened to them? What happened to grunge? by the way, did anyone notice that theres only 1 letter difference from autist to artist? Coincidence? I dont think so.

The whole album is artistic self wank fest. The more experimental they got the worst they got. Some experimental stuff can be ground breaking. Silverchair though just produce artistic for the point of beign artistic bullshit.

I am kinda upset that this is defined as the worst track from Young Modern :(

I actually think this song is very solid. Admittedly the studio recordin took a bit of time to grow on me though. I think its great how it keeps building up layer by layer until the end where its this big wall of electric funky hooks :)
