Word. I'm not flaming for Pavement. Just saying I would have enjoyed a curious feeling after hearing it and thinking about it. SHIT

I wish I would have listened to the whole song and heard the Pavement solo before I read about it here. I would have freaked.

The_Train.....I've always thought the exact same thing. Firewater was released smack dab in the middle of college for me. I never understood why that album never got more recognition. It was one of the best albums I ever heard...at the pinnacle of a very solid Indie music scene.

to this day, i don't see how firewater didn't make them superstars of the alt-rock universe. and i also don't see why more of my friends don't recognize the genius of libertine. as much as i wish them luck with bottomless pit i wish we still had mikey and silkworm.

It's from in The Mouth Of A Desert, actually. First time I heard that, I thought, "Haven't I heard this before?" Didn't completely register at first...anyways, a nice thing to quote, plus it's really well used. But, enough about that- this is a great song from a great album by a great band.

Most underrated band ever. It'll just take longer for people to actually listen to Silkworm.
