A summer evening, in northern Minnesota, on the lake... staring out into the water, with the distant hum of insects droning on behind you. Suddenly, it quiets. You look about you, and the twinkling of the lightning bug starts to emerge, then the insectal hum begins its backup chorus anew, as the light slowly fades from the sky.
Simplicity at it's best. 2nd favorite track.
Bell-like sounds are like a reflection of one's own soul's complexity.
And listening to it puts me at ease.
Especially in these darkest hours. Both literally and metaphorically.
