seen in the context of the stellar three albums that preceded it, this was really somewhat disappointin imo... good, enjoyable but agáetis, ( ) and takk... are much more inspired, original, here they often repeated themselves and the new "hurrah" style songs were weaker than the previous stuff. it also downgraded their live gigs I think.

i love this album but it definitely had to grow on me, and I dont think ill ever get used to the cover, call me a hater, but i just dont feel quite as comfortable when the music im listening to is accompanied with mens butt everywhere

I don't really like this. Maybe it'll grow on me but at the moment, I'm in too bad of a mood to listen to it in full. Which is weird because Sigur Rós usually calms me so it kind of says something about this album. Switched to Takk... and everything felt better.
