Sick_Bob is a solo project from Eric Miller of Buckhannon, West Virginia. Sick_Bob began in the Summer of 2000 as more of a joke than anything, but Miller ended up continuing with it. Little time was spent before Fruit of the Goon, the first full-length album was recorded, creating the unique genre of Crap music. Once the album was completed it seemed as though Sick_Bob had been said and done. A few try-and-fail attempts were made to once-again capture the magic of Sick_Bob in 2002, but no serious progress was made.
In mid-2003, Sick_Bob was successfully resurrected with an EP entitled The New Sick_Bob, which introduced a punk influence to Sick_Bob’s own Crap genre. Later in the Summer of 2003, Sick_Bob released his second full-length album, Bob of the Sickness, which achieved some local recognition which had been previously unimaginable. A string of small releases such as Live & Dead, Freedom or Boredom?, and The Singles Collection (2000-2003) followed over the next few months.
On Febuary 29, 2004, Sick_Bob released the 25-song, third full-length album The Good, The Bad, and The Sick, which didn’t capture the same attention as Bob of the Sickness. Just over 2 months later, the fourth full-length release Never Mind the Normal People had already become an instant hit around the high-school.
